2. Scope of Services
Docu Agency provides consulting and production services in the fields of:
Technical documentation (consulting, writing, restructuring, maintenance)
Video production and educational content
Training, workshops, and ongoing documentation support
Projects are generally offered on a fixed-price basis. Hourly billing applies only for ongoing documentation maintenance and updates.
3. Payment Terms
A deposit of 25% of the total project fee is required before work begins.
Remaining invoices are payable within 30 days of issue.
In the event of late payment, the legal interest rate for commercial transactions under Belgian law will apply automatically.
4. Ownership & Intellectual Property
Clients receive full ownership of the final deliverables (documentation, videos, training materials).
Docu Agency retains rights to its methods, templates, and processes used in creating the work.
Raw video files (unprocessed project files) remain the property of Docu Agency. They may be purchased separately at a fee of €75 per video file.
5. Accuracy & Responsibility
While Docu Agency ensures the highest possible accuracy, the client remains responsible for reviewing and verifying content before publication.
Docu Agency cannot be held liable for errors, omissions, or damages resulting from the use of deliverables.
Liability for indirect damages (including lost profits or reputational harm) is expressly excluded.
6. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to treat all project-related information as confidential, including product details, internal processes, and pricing structures.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice.
If work has already been performed, a pro-rata fee will be invoiced.
The initial 25% deposit is non-refundable and covers preparatory work in case of early termination.
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Turnhout, Belgium.
